Conduct and governance
CoFR has agreed a Memorandum of Understanding to encourage information sharing and collaboration.
CoFR work in this area is currently focused on developing coordinated approaches to governance expectations, including directors' responsibilities, and how good conduct in financial services firms can be improved.
CoFR agencies continue to work with the FMA and RBNZ in follow up work from the Conduct and Culture reviews of banks and life insurers which were published in 2018 and 2019.
